Serena Quebec offers training for health care professionals who are interested in better understanding the Symptothermal Method of fertility awareness.

The Symptothermal Method’s role in benefitting women 

The objective of this training is to examine the science behind fertility awareness and the applications for women’s general and reproductive health and fertility.

This course will focus on the following themes:

  • The signs and symptoms of fertility in women;

  • The benefits of observing the signs of one’s fertility;

  • Fertility as a couple and the window of fertility;

  • The effectiveness of the Symptothermal Method as a method of contraception and as a means to achieve conception.

Training for the Return of Fertility

This training is for those who are interested in understanding the variations of fertility in the postpartum phase and the associated signs of fertility; to understand the complex links between breastfeeding and fertility, and offer reliable natural alternatives of contraception.

This course will allow the participants to better evaluate and educate a woman in the postpartum phase with or without breastfeeding about the return of fertility, and to refer the client appropriately.

This course will focus on the following themes:

  • The signs and symptoms of the female menstrual cycle;

  • The scientific basis of fertility;

  • Understanding the ‘charting’ of the menstrual cycle;

  • Benefits of observing one’s signs of fertility;

  • Fertility as a couple and the window of fertility;

  • Exploring a woman’s health by analyzing the menstrual cycle.

 

Duration

15 to 21 hours scheduled over a weekend or two days.

 

Evaluation

The course includes several interactive activities and practical exercises to better understand the content and evaluate one's comprehension.
